DSD Thematic Manhole Cover Design Competition – 1st Runner Up

I am thrilled to share some exciting news with everyone — I won second place in the "DSD Thematic Manhole Cover Design Competition"! This competition was a rare opportunity to combine creativity with urban elements, allowing me to enhance our streets with unique designs and interact with public spaces.

First, I would like to express my gratitude to the Drainage Services Department and all the teams who organized the competition. Thank you for providing this platform for design enthusiasts to unleash their creativity and showcase their care for the urban environment.

What excites me the most is that my design will be turned into a tangible creation and become part of the streetscape! Imagining my design appearing on the streets, closely connected to citizens' daily lives, is both surprising and incredibly fulfilling. I hope this design can bring a touch of delight to passersby, adding a sense of storytelling and beauty to our streets.

In the future, when you walk through the streets and come across this designed manhole cover, perhaps you’ll remember the story behind it. I also hope it adds a splash of color to our city!
